2011 "Noteworthy Art" Exhibition

and Auction

The silent auction will be held in two parts, half on the evening of Friday, Oct. 7th at the Ellis Square Folk Fest and half during the Concert in Forsyth Park the afternoon and evening of Sunday, Oct. 9th.

ADVANCE BIDS may be made at any time prior to the silent auction.  Bids will start at no less than $50 and be raised in at least $10 increments.  Cash and check or major credit card (with picture ID) are acceptable payment.  Art guitars come with display stand and celebrity-autographed guitars with stand, case and letter of authenticity. Questions may be addressed by calling 912-306-7276.

As we proudly presents the seventh annual “Noteworthy Art” Exhibit and Silent Auction in support of the 22nd Annual Savannah Folk Music Festival, the Savannah Folk Music Society thanks the Gretsch Foundation for its generous donation of beautiful historic series guitars and Portman’s Music Superstore for the donation of guitar stands and cases.  Some of the guitars have been autographed by the biggest names in folk music. Most have been adorned by Savannah’s finest artists. Purchasers of these unique items will have treasures and help ensure the Festival remains free & open to the public.

The EXHIBITION of the Art Guitars will be held at the Visitors Center on Ellis Square in downtown historic Savannah from after Labor Day until the Festival opens on October 7th.
