· Savannah Folk Music Society Releases Holiday Caroling CD ($5)

Though its a long-time tradition for the Savannah Folk Music Society to organize Holiday Caroling Parties for the community, today marks the first time the Society has released a recording of such an event. “Caroling at the U. U. – 2008” includes fourteen popular songs of the season as recorded live at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Savannah, GA in December of 2008.

The Society is making a limited number of these CDs available as perfect stocking stuffers. For a donation of only $5 to SFMS, you may enjoy an impromptu and unrehearsed singing by men and women and boys and girls enjoying traditional carols and other holiday music.

2010 : Strategic Howling

The Savannah Folk Music Society announces the release of a new CD, “Strategic Howling" – The Best of First Friday for Folk Music - 2010.” This is the ninth year in a row that SFMS has picked from recent performances of its monthly coffeehouse-style concert “First Friday for Folk Music” to issue a “Best of” compact disc.
